Why Print Designers have Difficulty with Web Design
March 9, 2010

Paul Chato, from Your Web Department, presents this webinar to help explain why print designers cannot always transition easily into web design. This one-hour session will discuss the differences between the two  fields and try to bridge the gap between print and web designers.

You've heard the complaints: programmers are fed up with print designers who don't seem to understand the Internet, to the point where the words 'print designer' is used in a derogatory way. And conversely, designers are fed up with programmers that refuse to do what they have designed. What's up? Can't we be friends? Some things you will learn in this webinar:

-You need to know something about html and web plumbing. Just a little.
-The web has some rules that can't be broken
-A website is print + time
-Forget about trying to control the four corners of the page
-Your designs are going to be affected by Google's rules, learn to live with it

This webinar takes place on Tuesday March 9, 2010 from 12:00-1:00.
