As a Student
RGD Ontario invites Student Members to volunteer their time as part of our structured Student Volunteer Program.
Volunteers work 3 hours per week up to a total of 40 hours. Student volunteers in Toronto are asked to work in the Association's offices at 96 Spadina, Suite 210. Tasks are mainly administrative and include assisting with mailings, updating mailing lists through phone and Internet research, preparing packages and organizing files. Student volunteers outside of Toronto are asked to work from home. Tasks include Internet research and transcribing of event presentations.
In addition to the experience, volunteers receive free attendance at selected RGD Ontario events, an RGD Ontario t-shirt and a certificate of appreciation from the Association. In addition, student volunteers may participate as volunteers at the following year of DesignThinkers.
