Sustainability Committee

Mandate:

• Review RGD Ontario practices and processes and advise on how RGD Ontario can be more responsible environmentally and socially.
• Develop RGD Ontario’s Corporate Social Responsibility Report/Guidelines.
• Advise on sustainability and corporate social responsibility issues so that RGD Ontario and designers can take a leadership role on this issue within the business community.
• Harness the energy of RGD members and others within the industry to make to make positive impacts in our communities.
• Develop tools/resources to assist RGD members and others within the industry to be at the forefront of sustainable design for themselves and their clients.
• Work with RGD Ontario’s PR Committee to ensure the activities of this
  Committee are communicated effectively to the industry, business and the general public.
  
  

Committee Member Criteria:

• Interest in and understanding of environmental issues.
• Interest in and understanding of corporate social responsibility.
• Time to contribute to the work of the committee via email feedback, meetings and independent and group work.
• Membership in RGD Ontario.
