RGD’s new Exam Board website is designed to help readers navigate the R.G.D. examination process more quickly and easily
RGD Ontario recently revamped the Examination Board website, which provides information to those looking to go through the exam process to become Registered Graphic Designers (R.G.D.). The new site is much cleaner and allows for more interaction and feedback.
RGD Ontario’s Creative Director Karin Heinsch R.G.D. designed the new site using WordPress with assistance from Graphic Designer Lisa Zych, Prov. RGD, under the direction of RGD staff and the Exam Board Directors. When working on the design for the new website, simplicity and clarity were key; it was crucial that the website not over-complicate the examination process.
As Caroline Bruckner R.G.D., President of the RGD Exam Board summed up, “The examination process often seems more intimidating than it really is. The new site is much more approachable and puts all of the tools and resources you need to get started right up front. We are continually refining the exam process to make it a better experience - the redesign is a great reflection of the ongoing improvement and development taking place.”
Further enhancements are still to come, including more featured portfolio rationales and feedback from those who have gone through the examination, all designed to help demystify the process.
Please send any comments or feedback on the new site to design@rgdontario.com.
